- Unit: Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)\n
- Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract\n
- Shift: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), rotating weekends\n
- Hours per Week: 36\n
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site\n
- Start Date: December 19, 2025\n
\n\nICU Registered Nurse Qualifications\n
- \n
- Active Texas RN license (no temporary licenses)\n
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience\n
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required\n
- Strong critical thinking and clinical skills in acute care settings\n
- Ability to float to other hospital units as needed\n
- Meditech EMR experience preferred\n
- MICU/MSICU background, IABP and CRRT exposure preferred\n
- Compliance with hospital dress code: Navy scrubs, neat appearance, tattoos covered, only ear piercings visible\n
\n\nICU RN Responsibilities\n

- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit\n
- Monitor, assess, and treat critically ill patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment\n
- Perform and assist with ICU procedures: chest tubes, GI scopes, intubations, central and arterial lines, NG tubes, Foley catheters, and dressing changes\n
- Accurately document patient care using Meditech EMR\n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes\n
- Adhere to hospital policies, including punctuality, attendance, and floating guidelines\n
- Participate in ongoing nursing education and maintain required certifications\n
