The Host/Hostess will be the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm, polished welcome and ensuring smooth seating flow in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in fine dining and a strong ability to remain calm, organized, and personable under pressure.
Responsibilities:

Greet guests promptly and courteously with a professional demeanor

Manage reservations and seating to optimize guest flow and satisfaction

Communicate effectively with servers, management, and kitchen staff

Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the host stand and entrance area

Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and waitlist management with poise

Assist in coordinating large parties or special events as needed
Qualifications:

Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a host/hostess in a fine dining or upscale restaurant

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to multitask and stay composed in high-pressure situations

Professional appearance and demeanor

Familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, Resy) is a plus

Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
