Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer specializing in Piping Systems to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and drafting piping layouts, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design piping systems for various projects based on client specifications and industry standards.
- Create detailed piping layouts and schematics using AutoCAD software.
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure project requirements are met within budget and on schedule.
- Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, calculations, and reports related to piping systems.
- Conduct reviews and inspections of piping systems during construction to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in piping design and drafting, preferably in the oil and gas or manufacturing industries.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
- Strong understanding of piping codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Benefits
Compensation : $80,000 + Guaranteed Overtime (400-600 hrs)
