Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm, providing you with afternoons and weekends free.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification for the state of Colorado
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs tailored to elementary students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Ability to foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Passion for helping students reach their full potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction in alignment with each student’s IEP
- Assess student abilities, document progress, and adapt strategies for continual growth
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to ensure student success
- Maintain detailed records and up-to-date documentation per district standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences to support student achievement
- Provide a nurturing and engaging classroom for diverse learners
