We are seeking a skilled cherry picker operator to join our team in Upper Marlboro, MD. You will be responsible for assisting with order selecting in the large pick section, working from 3:30 pm until completion based on daily order volume. This role involves handling products weighing between 2 lbs to 75 lbs and transporting them using a cherry picker.
Responsibilities
- Operate a cherry picker to select and transport products.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in order selection.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Utilize the wire guidance system to navigate racks safely.
- Contribute to productivity reports by meeting daily goals.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of daily cherry picker operation experience.
- Experience in a large distribution center, preferably over 100,000 sqft.
- Ability to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Experience with wire guidance systems is advantageous.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Strong work history with no more than four job changes in five years.
- Ability to adapt quickly within 1-2 weeks to meet pull and accuracy targets.
- Excellent organizational skills.

Work Environment
Our brand new, state-of-the-art warehouse spans over 220,000 square feet, featuring more than 25 bay doors and a variety of electrical parts. The warehouse is meticulously organized and maintained to ensure a clean working environment. You will work in the large pick segment, surrounded by floor-to-ceiling racks and equipped with a wire guidance system to facilitate your tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
