Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Transportation Dispatcher to manage our truck freight fleet. This role involves direct daily communication with drivers, coordinating route planning, dispatch operations, and ensuring timely schedule. The ideal candidate will utilize specific Transportation Management Systems (TMS) software, including TruckMate, to support efficient dispatching during the 2nd shift.

Start Time: 3:00PM; OT is required and Holidays are required
 
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Plan and optimize routes for truck freight deliveries</li>
<li>Coordinate schedules to meet customer and operational requirements</li>
<li>Maintain direct daily communication with drivers and provide weekly updates</li>
<li>Manage dispatch operations using TruckMate and other PC software</li>
<li>Resolve problems promptly to minimize delays or issues</li>
<li>Keep accurate records and generate data reports for management</li>
<li>Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) partners as needed</li>

Required Qualifications

<li>Some college preferred</li>

<li>2+ years of experience in transportation dispatching</li>
