Job DescriptionSummary: Morris, Inc. is seeking a safety-focused and customer-oriented Redi-Mix Truck Driver to support our concrete operations. This position is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional delivery of ready-mix concrete while maintaining high standards of equipment care, safety compliance, and customer service.
The ideal candidate is dependable, professional under pressure, and committed to representing Morris, Inc. with integrity at every job site
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid CDL Class A or B (preferred; willing to train the right candidate)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to work safely and effectively under time constraints
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Physically capable of lifting 75 lbs and performing repetitive physical tasks
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Basic math skills helpful
Key Responsibilities
Safe & Efficient Delivery
- Operate ready-mix truck in compliance with DOT and company safety standards
- Inspect truck daily (fluids, tires, brakes, lights, etc.) and perform required pre- and post-trip inspections
- Maintain communication with dispatch regarding schedules and job status
- Position truck safely at job sites in coordination with contractor or homeowner
Customer & Jobsite Service
- Deliver product accurately and professionally
- Complete all required delivery tickets and paperwork before leaving job site
- Clean out truck at designated locations in an environmentally responsible manner
Equipment Care & Maintenance
- Wash down truck and maintain drum cleanliness daily
- Report mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of equipment
General Plant Support
- Assist with plant housekeeping duties during inclement weather or downtime
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Starting Wage: $26/hr DOE
