Job DescriptionBusiness Development Manager – Staffing (Hybrid – Boise, ID OR Vancouver WA/Portland, Oregon area)
Base + Uncapped Commission | $70K–$80K DOEA dynamic staffing firm is seeking a Business Development Manager to help expand its presence across engineering, IT, and professional services markets. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, this role is ideal for a driven sales professional with a track record of generating leads, closing deals, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver top-tier staffing and SOW-based solutions.Location: Hybrid – Boise, ID
Compensation: Base salary + uncapped commission (OTE $70K–$80K+, DOE)

  • Drive new business through proactive outreach, lead generation, and networking.
  • Sell contract, direct-hire, and SOW-based staffing solutions to clients in targeted industries.
  • Collaborate with recruiting and sales teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Create compelling sales materials, proposals, and RFP responses.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with HR leaders, hiring managers, and procurement teams.
  • Track pipeline metrics and report on sales activity to leadership.
  • Stay current on staffing trends and contribute to campaign strategy and market insights.
  • Represent the company at networking and industry events (virtual and in-person).

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of sales/business development experience, including cold calling.
  • 1+ years in staffing industry sales management (contract + direct hire strongly preferred, government contracts a plus).
  • Recruiting and account management experience is a strong plus.
  • Comfortable selling consultative solutions, including SOW/project-based work.
  • Experience with proposals, bids, RFPs, and client presentations.
  • Tech-savvy with CRM/ATS tools and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A motivated self-starter with high integrity and a customer-first mindset.
