Job Description
Our Metro West retail cleint is seeking a Graphic Designer to design and develop a Visual Merchandising Fixture Density Guide. This catalog will outline fixture density standards & capabilities as well as provide clear, visually compelling guidelines for store teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and Layout: Create a visual & virtual merchandising catalog that communicates fixture density standards and best practices.
• Visual Storytelling: Translate operational and merchandising concepts into clear, easy-to-understand graphics and layouts.
• Collaboration: Works closely with the Presentation and Merchandise Operation team and the balance of the core prototype team to incorporate design elements that reflect the future Client prototype vision.
• Consistency: Ensure all visuals adhere to Client brand guidelines and maintain a professional, retail-focused aesthetic.
Deliverables:
• Complete Visual Merchandising Book (digital format, print-ready)
• Fixture density diagrams and supporting visuals
• Style guide for future updates
Qualifications:
• Graphic Design Expertise:
o Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) (required)
o Experience with Canva (preferred).
• Retail Experience (Preferred): Understanding of visual merchandising principles, fixture layouts, and store design.
• Creative & Detail-Oriented: Ability to balance aesthetics with clarity and functionality.
• Strong Communication Skills: Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting design concepts.
• Project Management: Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment
