The Moore Center is excited to announce our search for a Chief Advancement Officer!
The CAO will be an integral member of the Agency’s senior leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with Agency leaders, the Board of Directors, and community partners, to further the Agency’s mission by expanding charitable support, forging new relationships, and enhancing the agency’s visibility and community engagement.
Key Initiatives in this Role Include:
· Expand the Agency’s fundraising capacity and enhance fiscal stability by developing a comprehensive multi-year development plan to increase charitable support, enhancing The Moore Center’s fiscal stability and program impact.
· Cultivate and maintain relationships that support fundraising efforts and positive community relationships.
· Oversee and coordinate all external communications and brand management.
· Ensure robust utilization of appropriate fundraising and communications platforms to track fundraising, enhance communications, and further stakeholder relations.
· Support internal communications to enhance cross-departmental knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
· Associates degree in a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred; along with a minimum of five years’ experience in a leadership role working in fundraising or communications with related human services experience.
· Proven track record as a collaborative community partner and leader
· Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholder groups including varied educational, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds, skill levels and value systems
· Valid driver’s license and access to a safe operating vehicle during scheduled working hours
· Proof of $100,000/300,000 Personal Automobile Liability Insurance
