Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; must be able to obtain MSDE certification in special education (mandatory) and vision (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of special education principles, including developing and writing IEPs, adapting curriculum, and implementing specialized instructional techniques.
- Prior experience supporting students with autism and complex disabilities involving behavioral needs is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to apply evidence-based strategies such as Applied Behavior Analysis for promoting skill acquisition and managing behavioral challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to visually impaired students with multiple disabilities in both group and one-on-one settings.
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs and learning objectives.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for students’ academic and behavioral growth.
- Employ data-driven approaches to adjust teaching strategies and interventions for optimal student progress.
- Engage in proactive communication with families and staff to foster a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
