Job DescriptionThe Bookkeeper is responsible for keeping accurate financial records, which include managing ledgers, processing invoices, and tracking expenses. You'll handle daily financial transactions and ensure that all entries are precise and timely. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a team. You'll work in an office environment, utilizing financial software to streamline processes and maintain the integrity of financial information.Compensation:
$45,500 - $49,500 yearly
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate current procedures and introduce impactful bookkeeping improvements
- Coordinate efforts to meet financial regulatory standards and company policies
- Oversee daily financial activities and ensure records are precise
- Develop financial reports and provide them to stakeholders to facilitate informed choices
- Conduct regular reconciliation of bank statements and accounts to uphold accuracy
Qualifications:
- Experience with GAAP and financial reporting
- Meticulous and organized in managing tasks
- Preferred certification as a Bookkeeper or similar
- Bachelor's degree in a related finance field
- 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping
