Duties

• Greet patients warmly and assist them with appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations
• Manage patient check-in and check-out processes with accuracy and professionalism
• Clear and prompt communication between patients and office healthcare providers to ensure timely follow-up and information exchange
• Maintain accurate patient data in EHR system
• Answer patient inquiries via phone or email, providing clear guidance and support
• Support clinical staff by processing lab requisitions and managing appointment reminders
• Ensure compliance with healthcare privacy regulations while handling sensitive patient information

Requirements

• Prior experience working in a medical or dental office setting is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately understand and communicate health information
• Proven ability to provide excellent medical administrative support in a fast-paced environment
• Office experience demonstrating organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities
• Familiarity scheduling software, electronic health records (EHR) systems and customer relation management systems (CRM) is a plus
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and discretion
