Position: Quality Control Inspector

Schedule: Monday – Friday
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour


Position Overview

We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector responsible for implementing and managing the Quality Control Program. This role includes performing manufacturing inspections, testing activities, maintaining quality records, and supporting resolution of customer complaints, returns, and product non-conformance issues.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all products and work meet or exceed contract specifications and company quality standards
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable corporate policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Identify manufacturing defects, perform root cause analysis, and support corrective/preventive actions
  • Perform inspections using hand tools, calibrated instruments, measuring devices, CMM, and test fixtures
  • Record, audit, and maintain inspection and test data according to documented procedures
  • Manage scanning, documentation, and filing of all quality inspection records
  • Communicate non-conformance issues to production supervisors and relevant teams
  • Ensure calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of inspection equipment
  • Coordinate inspection schedules with operations to meet production targets
  • Verify part dimensions, finish, and appearance against engineering drawings and specifications
  • Maintain and care for precision measuring instruments and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
  • Support First Article Inspections (FAI)
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production and team members
  • Interact with customers to clarify and ensure quality expectations are met


Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Experience using inspection tools, gauges, fixtures, and measuring equipment
  • Working knowledge of CMM programming and output interpretation
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Leadership skills with ability to train and support team members
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities


Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience (preferred)
