THE COOLEST JOB! Do you have experience working with animals? A former vet tech, trainer, handler or skilled pet professional is the best candidate. First Aid and CPR certification. Are you trustworthy, reliable, dependable, energetic and honest with a great attitude? Do you enjoy a flexible schedule? Do you enjoy your day filled with a variety of duties? Do you have an eye for detail, ability to work independently and have excellent communication skills?
This is a long term, part time job with a growing company. It is on a as needed basis. Pet sitters provide pet care in the homes of the various types of pets (dogs and cats make up the majority). You will be feeding and refilling water bowls, exercising (walking or playing), administering medicines, cleaning up accidents/pet areas, scooping litter boxes, and also bringing in mail, newspaper, alternating lights and blinds. You will be writing the daily log each visit and could email or text a brief update of the visit. You will have your visits scheduled and its your responsibility to follow them and alert the company of issues.
This is a great part time position!
To be considered for a position you will need to have:
1. A reliable vehicle with insurance and valid drivers license.
2. Cell phone with text and internet capability.
3. Computer with internet access..
4. Must be able to work weekends and holidays and are flexible with schedule. If you are frequently out of town or are gone on holidays then you are probably not a good fit for pet sitting. Mainly looking for MIDDAY DOG WALKERS.
6. Must live in the Hermantown, Esko, or surrounding areas that we service.
