The Department of Neurology at our organization is actively looking for Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologists to enhance and grow our Neuromuscular Division.
About Us
We are the sole academic medical center located in northeastern New York, serving over 3 million individuals as a private, non-profit entity. Our Neurology Department is well-established, offering specialized programs in:
- Epilepsy
- Dementia
- Movement Disorders
- Neuromuscular Diseases
- Pediatric Neurology
- Pain Management
- Stroke and Neurocritical Care
Position Highlights
- Deliver patient care in a collaborative setting with both general and specialized neurology professionals.
- Instruct and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Conduct and analyze EMG/NCS studies.
- Engage in numerous research opportunities.
- Academic appointment available at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, depending on qualifications and experience.
Qualifications
- MD/DO or equivalent with board certification in Neurology.
- Completion of a certified Clinical Neurophysiology or Neuromuscular Fellowship.
- Possession of an active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State.
- Strong passion for education and mentorship.
