Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Deliver critical care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting, providing compassionate and skilled nursing to patients across all age groups. This contract role requires a dedicated registered nurse experienced in emergency care, committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered services in alignment with professional standards and facility protocols.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement nursing interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
- Monitor patient status continuously, documenting and communicating changes effectively
- Adhere to established guidelines including the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and facility standards
- Utilize EPIC electronic health records for accurate documentation
- Maintain equipment and ensure a safe, clean workspace
- Float to different areas within the Emergency Department as needed
Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Current RN license or Missouri temporary work permit
- Minimum of 1 year of emergency department nursing experience
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, NIHSS
- Ability to stand and walk most of the shift; physical ability to lift and assist patients
- Proficient communication and clinical skills in emergency nursing care
Schedule & Contract Details
- Contract role with a 36-hour guaranteed workweek
- Weekend hours as required by the facility
This position requires flu vaccination between November 1 and April 1 unless client-approved exemption applies.
