We are looking for a creative and skilled Pastry Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will

have a passion for baking and desserts, strong technical and interpersonal skills, and the ability

to develop innovative Mexican pastry creations that delight our customers.

Responsibilities:

 Plan, prepare, and execute a variety of cakes, pies/tarts, pastries, desserts, baked goods,

and specialty items.

 Develop new recipes and seasonal menu items that align with the brand’s concept.

 Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all items.

 Manage daily production schedules and inventory of baking ingredients and supplies.

 Oversee kitchen operations related to the pastry section, including staff supervision if

applicable.

 Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe working environment in compliance with

health and safety standards.

 Monitor portion control and minimize food waste.

 Collaborate with the culinary team to design and execute special campaign menus.

 Provide friendly, professional interaction with guests when needed, explaining menu

items and accommodating special requests.

 Train, mentor, and motivate junior pastry staff and bakers as the team is built.

 Contribute to the overall sales revenue of the company.

 Execute administrative tasks such as meeting participation, report preparation.

Requirements:

 Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or in a similar role.

 Bilingual is a must – English and Spanish.

 Professional pastry or culinary training is preferred.

 Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry tools, and food safety regulations.

 Creativity and an eye for detail in presentation.

 Excellent time management, organizational, and leadership skills.

 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.

 Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

 Self-starter who enjoys working independently as well as collaborating with others in

the team.

 Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.

 Strong sense of ownership and initiative with willingness to learn.

 Problem-solving and adaptability when facing kitchen or guest challenges.

 Friendly and approachable, providing exceptional customer experience.

 Attention to detail in both product quality and service.

 Willingness and capacity to understand the business and management side of the role.
