We are looking for an organized and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our team across multiple locations including New Paltz, Lagrangeville, and Kingston. Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up visits with accuracy.
• Answer phone calls and address inquiries in a detail-oriented manner.
• Maintain and organize patient records while ensuring confidentiality.
• Assist with insurance verification and billing processes.
• Provide administrative support to medical staff as needed.
• Monitor and manage the reception area to ensure it remains welcoming and orderly.
• Previous experience in a receptionist or similar role is preferred.
• Proficiency in patient scheduling and administrative tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
• Familiarity with medical office software and systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
