Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Chagrin Valley Racquet Club is looking for a dynamic and personable Membership Director to join our team in beautiful Chagrin Falls, OH. In this key leadership role, you'll be the face of our club — driving membership growth, building lasting relationships, and creating an exceptional experience for members old and new. Responsibilities:
- Lead all membership sales efforts, including prospecting, tours, and new member onboarding
- Develop and execute membership retention strategies to maximize engagement and reduce attrition
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current members to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
- Plan and coordinate member events, promotions, and outreach initiatives
- Track and analyze membership data, trends, and KPIs to inform growth strategies
- Collaborate with club staff and management to deliver a seamless member experience
- Represent the club at community events and networking opportunities to drive brand awareness
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in membership sales, club management, or a related field
- Proven track record in sales, business development, or customer relationship management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a warm, professional demeanor
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in CRM software and membership management platforms preferred
- Passion for racquet sports, fitness, or the private club industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field preferred
