Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to provide both retail and long-term care pharmacy services at a specialty pharmacy location in Grand Rapids, MN. This role offers a 13+ week assignment with a standard weekday schedule and possible rotating weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications and provide pharmaceutical care in a specialty pharmacy setting
- Manage long-term care pharmacy operations alongside retail duties
- Counsel patients and healthcare providers regarding medication use and safety
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. 5:30 p.m.
- Possible rotating weekends
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Pharmacist License
- Immunization Certification
- CPR Certification
- PharmD degree or Medication Therapy Management (MTM) certification preferred
- Experience in both retail and long-term care pharmacy settings
