This role is for a versatile, per diem Registered Nurse (RN) at our healthcare facilities, delivering patient care across multiple specialties such as behavioral health, emergency services, intensive care, medical-surgical, and women's health. Applicants must possess a valid RN license, have recent hands-on experience, and hold necessary certifications like BLS and ACLS, depending on the area of specialty. The position offers varied shifts, incentives, and requires the physical capability to perform patient care tasks while upholding confidentiality and professional standards.

Position Overview:

Are you looking for a flexible, incentivized RN position? You can choose between day or night shifts—whatever suits you best! There are no mandatory weekend, holiday, or shift commitments. Participation in the Gig Nursing Program entails being responsible for scheduling a minimum number of hours, being available on short notice, and being adaptable to last-minute shift cancellations. Please note that the Gig Nursing Program does not guarantee shift hours and will be prioritized for cancellations.

Qualifications:

Required Education:

Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program.

Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure:

Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the state of employment and/or compact licensure, meeting all state board of nursing requirements.

Experience:

At least one year of recent bedside RN experience for Medical-Surgical roles. For other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.), a minimum of two years of recent, specialty-specific bedside RN experience is required.

Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Epic systems.

Certifications:

For Medical-Surgical, Behavioral Health, and Women's Health (L&D, NICU, M&B) - BLS certification required.

For Critical Care - BLS and ACLS certifications required.

For Emergency Department - BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Additional certifications may be necessary post-hire.

Physical Requirements:

This position necessitates the ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Prolonged standing and walking are required during each shift.

Must be able to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to fulfill job responsibilities.
