We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer to join our cardiology team. What You'll Do:

Perform echocardiograms on pediatric patients with congenital heart conditions, following departmental protocols and safety standards.

Evaluate patient history and symptoms to ensure accurate and comprehensive scanning.

Operate a variety of ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.

Provide preliminary image reviews and collaborate with cardiologists for interpretation.

Assist in the onboarding and training of new sonographers, offering guidance and support.

Participate in quality assurance initiatives and attend team meetings to stay current with departmental and clinical best practices.

Maintain cleanliness, perform routine maintenance of equipment, and report any malfunctions.

Take part in an on-call schedule as required by the department.
Qualifications You'll Need:
Education:
-
Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography, Radiologic Technology, or Sonography Technology program (required).
Licensure/Certification (one of the following is required):
-
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) CCI
-
Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) CCI
-
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) ARDMS
-
If RDCS AE or RCS is held, the candidate must obtain RDCS PE or RCCS within 18 months of hire.

Other Requirements:
-
Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support (BLS/ACLS)

Specific training or work experience in pediatric cardiac scanning (required)

New graduates without pediatric experience or training will not be considered
