As a Corporate Accountant, you will:
- Financial Accounting & Reporting – Assist with month-end report creation, financial performance analysis, annual audits, cost reports, and tax filings (e.g., Form 990) to ensure accuracy and integrity of organizational finances.
- Financial Analysis & Decision Support – Develop financial models, variance analyses, forecasts, and scenario planning to aid strategic decisions. Collaborate with department leaders to analyze revenue and expense trends and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Healthcare Compliance & Credentialing Support – Track and monitor state licensure renewals for all healthcare facilities. Support provider credentialing and re-credentialing by maintaining audit-ready records and collaborating with compliance teams. Engage with providers and payers to negotiate reimbursement contracts that cover the cost of care.
- Systems & Process Improvement – Identify and implement process improvements to enhance workflows, reporting accuracy, and compliance tracking. Support financial system integrations, upgrade, and ensure best practices are adopted across teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Serve as a liaison between Finance and departments such as Compliance, HR, and Clinical Operations. Educate and guide internal stakeholders on financial protocols, compliance requirements, and best practices.

This job also requires:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or multi-entity environments.
- Experience in healthcare finance, including provider credentialing, licensure compliance, and reimbursement.
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with financial systems (e.g., Safe Intacct, NetSuite, QuickBooks).
- Analytical mindset with proactive, problem-solving approach.
- Ability to pass state mandated background checks.
- Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with team members, visitors, and stakeholders.
