2nd Shift Bilingual Production Manager

Salary: $80,000 Shift: 2nd Shift

Position Overview

A rapidly growing manufacturing and packaging facility is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Bilingual Production Manager to oversee daily operations on a multi-line, high-speed production floor. This role is responsible for leading the shift team, driving performance, ensuring quality and safety standards, and coordinating with cross-functional departments to meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production supervisors, leads, and operators on 2nd shift.

· Oversee all production activities across multiple high-speed lines, ensuring daily output, quality, and efficiency goals are met.

· Manage shift schedules, attendance, labor planning, and staffing levels.

· Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and quality standards.

· Conduct shift meetings, performance coaching, and corrective actions as needed.

· Partner with Quality, Maintenance, and Planning to troubleshoot issues, minimize downtime, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, throughput, changeover optimization, and waste reduction.

· Maintain accurate production reports, KPI tracking, and shift hand-off communication.

Qualifications

· 5+ years of production leadership experience in manufacturing; experience in high-speed packaging, food/beverage, nutraceutical, or similar environments strongly preferred.

· Strong understanding of GMP, quality systems, and safety programs.

· Proven ability to manage and motivate large production teams.

· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing manufacturing environment.

· Willingness to work 2nd shift with flexibility for occasional overtime.
