Required Skills:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting production drawings and specifications
- Ability to perform quality checks independently during fabrication
- Skilled in measuring and transferring drawings into production units
- Experience welding aluminum and steel with consistency to meet customer standards
- Familiarity with operating metal fabricating equipment such as shears, saws, power/hand brakes, rollers, and welders
- Strong safety and housekeeping habits
Nice to Have Skills:
- Ability to train others in fabrication techniques
- Welding certification or testing experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Relevant experience in welding and metal fabrication
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are a plus
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement
- Willingness to perform welding tests prior to hiring
- Ability to work 1st shift hours (7:00am-4:00pm) with overtime as needed
- This position is initially temporary with potential for full-time hire
