Occupational Therapist – PRN (Lymphedema)
Location: Fort Pierce / Vero Beach, FL
Employment Type: Per Diem
Compensation:

$100 per Start of Care (SOC)

$90 per Evaluation

$80 per Recert/Discharge

$75 per Routine Visit
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Per Diem Occupational Therapist to join our growing home health team serving the Fort Pierce and Vero Beach area. This position focuses on providing in-home lymphedema therapy to patients requiring rehabilitation support in the comfort of their own homes.
As part of a care-driven and patient-first organization, you'll have the flexibility of PRN scheduling while delivering meaningful therapy interventions that promote independence, function, and dignity.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide skilled OT services according to a physician's plan of care, focusing on lymphedema management.

Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.

Perform Start of Care (SOC), routine visits, reassessments, recertifications, and discharges.

Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and use of adaptive equipment.

Coordinate with nurses, PTs, and other members of the care team to ensure comprehensive service.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Medicare guidelines and agency policies.
Requirements:

Current Florida Occupational Therapist license in good standing.

Certified or experienced in lymphedema therapy (CLT preferred).

Minimum of one year of OT experience, ideally in home health or a community-based setting.

Strong communication, organizational, and clinical reasoning skills.

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the Fort Pierce and Vero Beach area.

Familiarity with home health EMRs and documentation expectations.
