Job Description

Seeking an Illinois-licensed Nurse Practitioner for our Oncology practice in Decatur, IL, primarily working in the clinic with occasional travel to other locations.

Summary: Under physician supervision, the Nurse Practitioner provides primary care, performs medical services, and collaborates as part of the hematology/oncology team.

Responsibilities include: taking patient histories, conducting physical exams, ordering diagnostics, assisting with procedures, administering medications, advising on health and prevention, documenting patient progress, triaging calls, managing illnesses, and participating in education and research.

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, current Illinois licensure, CPR certification, and EPIC training. Must have strong clinical skills, communication, organizational abilities, and adhere to safety and confidentiality standards.

Physical & mental demands: Ability to handle physical tasks, work under stress, and adapt to changing conditions. Exposure to blood, body fluids, and chemotherapeutic agents is possible.
