Job Title: Radiology / Cardiology / CT Technologist

Location: Milwaukie, Oregon
Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform high-quality computed tomography examinations in a short-term acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CT imaging procedures, patient positioning, and image acquisition while ensuring exceptional patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT scans according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for CT procedures.
• Operate CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure accurate diagnostic studies.
• Administer contrast media as required and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Follow radiation safety and infection control guidelines.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare team members to support patient care.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of imaging equipment.
• Provide compassionate and professional patient care throughout examinations.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience preferred.
• Prior acute care hospital experience preferred.
• First-time travelers accepted.

Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT Certification required.
• CT Certification required according to state and facility requirements.
• BLS Certification required.

Skills & Qualifications

• Computed Tomography (CT) imaging.
• Patient assessment and positioning.
• Contrast administration.
• Image quality evaluation.
• Radiation safety practices.
• Electronic medical record documentation.
