We are currently hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing to join our Innovative Nursing Team! If you have strong interpersonal skills that promote employee engagement, have exceptional leadership skills that foster department and interdisciplinary teamwork and productivity, and want to make a difference, we want to meet you!Responsibilities:This position provides the nursing leadership and management for our facility’s Two Short term Rehab Units & our Brain Injury unit. This team member will ensure the provision of quality, compliance, financial management, customer experience, employee engagement and outcomes that are aligned with the organization’s targets. Other key responsibilities include oversight of the RN supervisors, Collaboration with our Medical Team that includes Providers from PM&R, Vascular Surgeons and Hanger Clinic as part of our Amputee Program, Nephrologists that will be overseeing our Brand-New in-house Dialysis Center, along with many other consultants and, Wound Care management.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse License with current registration in New York State
- At least 2 years experience in critical care, emergency room, ICU or Step Down or comparable preferred.
- Must possess excellent assessment skills in a variety of patients with multiple co-morbidities.
- 5 years nursing experience with a preferred minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
- Knowledge of CMI, QA/QM
- Strong verbal, written, computer and leadership skills
