Manual Machinist
Position Summary:
Experienced Manual Machinist to work with Industrial Steel Fabrications
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Run Large Manual Boring Mill &amp; Lathe to Machine Industrial Steel Fabrications</li>
<li>Read and Interpret Blueprints and Sketches in metric and standard</li>
<li>Operate Overhead Cranes &amp; Fork-Lifts</li>
<li>Responsible to tap, debur &amp; clean workpieces</li>
<li>Responsible to Inspect Dimensions to Fit Specifications</li>
<li>Knowledge of preventive maintenance and repairs as needed</li>
<li>Ensure working environment is kept clean and safe</li>
</ul>
Mechanical Knowledge &amp; Assembly Experience
Must have own machinist tools including micrometers up to 6
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>10 Years Experience preferred</li>
<li>Must have Knowledge of Manual Machines</li>
<li>Must Satisfactorily Complete Proficiency Tests</li>
</ul>
Overtime available depending on workload
Machines:
<ul>
<li>5 Cincinnati-Gilbert table type horizontal boring mill, 10 vertical.</li>
<li>5 Cincinnati-Gilbert floor type horizontal boring mill, manual controls, 8 vertical, 36 horizontal travel.</li>
<li>6 Giddings &amp; Lewis table type horizontal boring mill, manual controls, 25 x 6 table, 8 vertical.</li>
