Direct Counsel represents a well-regarded Am Law firm seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join its leading Project Development & Finance practice. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on high-profile energy and infrastructure projects alongside top-tier sponsors and developers across global markets.
The team is one of the most active in the world, advising on complex, large-scale projects across sectors including energy, renewables, and infrastructure. This role offers hands-on experience in sophisticated project development work within a collaborative, high-performing environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Draft and negotiate engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts
- Advise project sponsors, owners, and developers on major energy and infrastructure projects
- Support project development and financing transactions across domestic and international markets
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex, high-value deals
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in project development, construction, or infrastructure transactions
- Experience drafting and negotiating EPC contracts strongly preferred
- Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Interest in energy, infrastructure, and large-scale project work
- J.D. with strong academic credentials and admission to a U.S. Bar (or eligibility)
