Job Description Accounts Receivable Analyst
Location: Northville, MI
Rate: $23-26/hour
Duration: Contract to Hire
Job Summary The Accounts Receivable Analyst will be responsible for checking daily cash remittance and posting customer payments promptly. They will work independently or with minimal supervision to resolve A/R issues, update collection reports, process monthly-close tasks, and lead meetings between accounting and sales teams.
Skill Requirements
- Must-Have Requirements:
- Experience in full-cycle AR processes including billing, cash applications, and collections
- Ability to work with foreign currency transactions
- Proficiency in using an ERP system like JD Edwards or similar large systems
- Knowledge of creating and managing Excel spreadsheets using functions such as pivot tables
- Understanding of EDI reporting and supplier portals
- Preferred:
- Experience working within auto/manufacturing or corporate industry experience
- Experience with JD Edwards ERP system is a plus
