We're working with adynamic, mid-sized company with a strong focus on delivering high-quality solutions to its residential and commercial clientele. Due to their continued growth, they are looking to add a Full-Cycle Accountant to their talented team.
We're hiring a detail-oriented and experienced Full-Cycle Accountant to be at the heart of our financial operations. In this role, you'll meticulously maintain financial records, handle accounts payable and receivable, and prepare accurate financial statements. You'll also ensure our compliance with all relevant regulations. Working directly with our management team, you'll provide the timely and accurate financial reporting we need to make smart business decisions.
Compensation: $60-$75,000k
Location: Forest Hill, MD
Schedule: Mon – Fri, Standard Hours
Full-Cycle Accountant Responsibilities:

Financial Records Management: Manage and reconcile the general ledger, perform bank reconciliations, and oversee all accounts payable and receivable activities, including invoicing, payments, and collections.

Financial Close & Reporting: Execute comprehensive month-end and year-end close processes, prepare all necessary journal entries and adjustments, and generate insightful monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Planning & Compliance: Assist with budget and forecast development to align with company goals, ensure strict adherence to tax regulations (including sales tax filings and external accountant coordination for year-end), and meticulously track, allocate, and report all project costs.

Audit Support: Prepare for and effectively respond to all audit inquiries.
Full-Cycle Accountant Qualifications/Competencies:

Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, combined with at least 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience. Preference for backgrounds in construction, restoration, or mitigation industries.

Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks), strong knowledge of GAAP, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Key Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills for efficient and accurate task management. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal) for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners. Proven ability to work as a team player across all levels of the organization.
