Job Details

  • Location: Centennial, CO (Hybrid)

  • Hours: Full-time, mix of in-office, remote, and field

  • Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000

  • Benefits: medical, dental, 401K match, development assistance, discretionary bonus

  • Sponsorship: Sponsorship not available. Position only available to those within the US with legal authorization to work.

About This Role

As a Structural Engineer you will:

  • Design and analyze structural systems for diverse projects - from residential renovations to small commercial builds, working on short timelines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Spend 20-40% of your time in the field conducting structural inspections, foundation assessments, and forensic evaluations.

  • Collaborate & communicate directly with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver innovative solutions that meet tight deadlines.

  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents while ensuring compliance with building codes.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Self-starter looking to grow with a small, ambitious engineering firm with advancement opportunities.

  • Someone that isn't afraid to get their hands (or shoes) dirty and get the job done.

  • Strong communicator who can discuss complex issues with diverse stakeholders and deliver both good and challenging news professionally.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with 1-2 years of structural engineering experience.

  • Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification required. Technical proficiency with Mathcad, Bluebeam, and Autodesk products (Revit/AutoCAD).

  • Design experience and residential structural experience preferred, but not required.

Interview Process

  1. Submit your application - Consider this your first interview! We are evaluating your ability to communicate effectively and genuinely; your responses will determine if you move to the next stage.

  2. Recruiter Screen - 30 minute video interview with a recruiter

  3. In Person Interview - 90 minute interview with Cronin team leaders

  4. Final Interview - 60 minute in-person interview to meet the rest of the team

Compensation Range: $60K - $80K
