Position: ALLIED-Respiratory Therapist (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients as prescribed.
Monitor and assess patient progress and response to therapy.
Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatment plans.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient care strategies.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in therapy delivery.
Utilize performance metrics to track and improve personal success.
Engage in team meetings to discuss patient care and performance outcomes.
Promote a positive work environment through teamwork and accountability.
Assist in the development of respiratory care protocols and guidelines.
Identify and address any barriers to effective patient care.

Experience/Qualifications

Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in Minnesota.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Experience in administering respiratory therapy treatments in clinical settings.
Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards in respiratory therapy.
Ability to utilize performance metrics for personal improvement.
Strong communication skills for patient and family education.
Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
Proficiency in maintaining accurate patient documentation.
Strong problem-solving skills to address patient care barriers.
Experience in developing or implementing care protocols.
