A rewarding opportunity is available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) to provide valuable services within a K-12 school environment in Glen Allen, VA. This contract position spans the academic school year and offers the chance to make a positive impact on childrens communication development.

Qualified candidates should possess certification and experience in one or more of the following areas: SLP - CCC, SLP - Healthcare, SLP - Pediatrics, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or related school-based roles for SLP/SLPA. Experience working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade is essential to effectively support a diverse range of speech and language needs.

Key qualifications and desired skills:

  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Experience with pediatric populations and school-based speech therapy
  • Familiarity with healthcare settings or clinical fellowship year experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
