Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Mid-Maine school is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for a contract position starting January 2026 through June 2026. This role supports students across a broad age range, from kindergarten through 12th grade, with particular focus on early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to students developmental and educational needs across K-12 grades.
  • Collaborate with educators and other professionals to develop individualized plans that support students academic and functional performance.
  • Document student progress and maintain compliance with state and federal requirements.
  • Participate in team meetings and provide consultative services to staff and parents as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Active state license in occupational therapy is required.
  • Experience working with school-age children, preferably in early childhood through high school settings.
  • Strong understanding of therapeutic practices applicable to various grade levels, from K-5 to high school.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with students, families, and school personnel.

Position Details:

  • Location: Ellsworth, ME
  • Contract duration: January through June 2026
  • Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week, 5 days per week
