This individual will be responsible for developing and expanding relationships with small-to-mid-sized businesses and professional practices, providing comprehensive banking solutions that drive long-term client success.

Function: Source and manage business banking relationships across key verticals such as healthcare, legal, and CPA practices offering tailored solutions across credit, treasury, depository, and wealth services.
Description:
- Develop and grow new client relationships with small-to-mid-sized businesses and professional practices, including law firms, medical groups, CPAs, and other industry specialists
- Serve as a trusted advisor by delivering strategic guidance across the full spectrum of business banking services including credit, depository, treasury, and merchant solutions
- Conduct deep financial discovery to understand client objectives and tailor customized solutions that support growth, improve cash flow, and enhance operational efficiency
- Proactively manage and expand an existing portfolio by identifying cross-sell opportunities and deepening wallet share through high-touch client service and consistent follow-up
- Lead relationship strategy by collaborating with credit partners, underwriters, and portfolio managers to structure and deliver competitive loan packages, including owner-occupied real estate and working capital lines
- Engage internal partners including Private Banking, Wealth, and Treasury Management to deliver a holistic client experience across personal and business needs
- Leverage strong credit acumen to assess financial statements, manage risk exposure, and ensure prudent lending practices in line with internal credit policy
- Stay current on market trends, industry insights, and regulatory requirements to provide forward-thinking financial solutions
- Represent the bank at community and networking events to build visibility and pipeline opportunities
- Uphold risk and compliance standards by adhering to internal policies and regulatory guidelines, while maintaining meticulous documentation and process integrity
- Maintain high standards of organization and accountability, managing an active pipeline and utilizing CRM tools to track activities, client interactions, and performance metrics
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree required; formal bank credit training preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Business or Commercial Banking
- Proven track record in sales, portfolio growth, and client acquisition
- Deep understanding of credit, lending, and treasury concepts
- Strong presence in the South Florida business community
