Job Title: Polisher and Buffer
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Polisher and Buffer, where you'll begin by using a hand grinder to smooth out rough edges and polish metal to a fine finish. You will have the opportunity to cross-train into basic fabrication, including cutting metal to length using a tape measure, brake press operations, spot welding, buffing, and racking for paint. Additionally, you'll provide support to other departments such as assembly, packaging, and paint as needed.
Responsibilities
- Smooth and polish metal surfaces using a hand grinder.
- Cross-train in basic fabrication tasks like metal cutting, brake press operation, and spot welding.
- Assist in assembly, packaging, and paint departments as required.
- Ensure accurate measurements using a tape measure.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Essential Skills
- Mechanical aptitude developed through work experience, education, or hobbies.
- Experience with sheet metal and grinding.
- Proficient in measurement skills and basic math.
- Experience with hand and power tools, welding, fabrication, and sheet metal.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 6 months of manufacturing experience.
- Proficiency in reading a tape measure.
- Experience with hand and power tools.
- Shop classes such as welding, automotive, woodworking, and machine/tool.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.84 - $22.09/hr.
