This per diem opportunity offers a vital role supporting a long-term care pharmacy located in Mauston, Wisconsin. The position involves assisting the sole pharmacist-owner during vacation periods and when workload demands increase, ensuring seamless pharmacy services for the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense and package medications accurately for long-term care patients.
- Manage inventory and coordinate medication deliveries efficiently.
- Utilize pharmacy technology systems and uphold quality assurance protocols.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers to address medication-related needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Wisconsin pharmacist license required.
- Prior experience working in a long-term care pharmacy setting strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Framework pharmacy software is a significant advantage; training will be provided if needed.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM 1:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed
- Dates needed: March 23 through March 27, 2026
