The role involves delivering essential patient care within the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Responsibilities include circulating, scrubbing, and documenting both diagnostic and interventional procedures for adult patients, particularly in interventional cardiology, heart failure, and pulmonary services. The position requires the operation of relevant medical equipment and software, along with maintaining professional interactions with both clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

Essential Education and Experience Criteria:

• Associate's Degree from a recognized Cardiovascular Technology Program.
• OR Associate's Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
• If the candidate holds an Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, they must be certified by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
• If the candidate has an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology, they must have the Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI), Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI), or Radiography (R) Registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• The CI registration is preferred.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications are required.

Motor Vehicle Operator Designation

The individual in this position will not be required to operate vehicles for any business-related purposes.
