Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Support student learning and development as a Paraprofessional in a dynamic school environment located in Bellevue, NE. This full-time position offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to student success during the 2025-2026 school year, with the potential for contract renewal.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting teachers with instructional support and classroom management
- Providing one-on-one or small group assistance to students for academic and social development
- Supporting students with special needs in various learning activities
- Facilitating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Assisting with the preparation of instructional materials and organizing classroom resources
- Monitoring student progress and reporting observations to teachers
- Collaborating with teachers and staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Qualifications and experience:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in an educational support role preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents
- Patience, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment
- Ability to follow instructional guidelines and school policies
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications are a plus
