Job Description
Job Description
Are you an experienced Dental Hygienist looking for a stress-free environment where you can truly connect with your patients? Do you value a practice that prioritizes quality care over rushed schedules and high-pressure sales?
Join Family and Implant Dentistry, a well-established and highly respected practice where patients are treated like family and we routinely schedule ample time for appointments. We are proud to offer a relaxed atmosphere, a supportive team, and a state-of-the-art facility to deliver the highest quality, comprehensive dental care.
Why Join Our Team?
- Relaxed Scheduling: Enjoy a schedule that allows you to take your time, build relationships, and provide comprehensive care without feeling rushed. Quality over quantity is our motto.
- Supportive Culture: Our doctor (Dr. Friz) and staff are friendly, easygoing, and committed to a collaborative environment. We genuinely care about each other and our patients.
- Patient-First Philosophy: We operate with high ethical standards, free from "hype" or "high-pressure sales." We focus on patient education and respect, empowering patients to make their own treatment decisions.
- Comprehensive Dentistry: Work in a practice where the doctor is highly educated in varied dental techniques (as a member of the Academy of General Dentistry), allowing us to provide a wide range of services and rarely refer patients out.
- State-of-the-Art Facility: Practice in a modern, clean, and safe office that meets or surpasses all OSHA and CDC standards.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be skilled in all aspects of dental hygiene and committed to providing gentle, thorough care.
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings (prophylaxis) for patients of all ages.
- Provide non-surgical periodontal therapy and treatment, including scaling and root planning.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking and reviewing necessary X-rays, charting, and oral cancer screenings.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the link between oral health and overall wellness.
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (if licensed/certified) as needed.
- Collaborate with the doctor and team to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care.
Qualifications
- Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Indiana.
- Current CPR certification.
- Proven experience in a dental practice setting, skilled in all routine and periodontal hygiene procedures.
- A friendly, kind, and gentle chairside manner.
- Must be reliable, professional, and possess a strong work ethic.
