Job Description

The Evaluator is responsible for analyzing oil, fuel, and coolant samples to detect abnormal wear conditions, improper machine use, and other discrepancies related to machine applications. This role is integral to maintaining the vision of 'One Professional Team.'

Responsibilities

  • Perform various administrative tasks to support the evaluation process.
  • Preview daily test work and mark daily sheets for sample characteristics.
  • Organize sample bottles in trays for lab technicians.
  • Communicate effectively with shop personnel, construction workers, and related professionals to convey oil sample information.
  • Engage with customers to gather additional information when necessary.
  • Evaluate customer oil, fuel, and coolant samples from various compartments and manufacturers.
  • Group samples by type to establish norms and normal trend lines for individual units or customers.
  • Research information about machine manufacturing, maintenance schedules, fluid types, and known repair issues.
  • Identify errors in test data and mislabeled customer samples.
  • Assess overall wear and identify developing failures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

The Evaluator works in a quiet indoor environment, collaborating closely with the lab and data review teams, but primarily stationed at a desk outside the laboratory. The role requires occasional lifting or moving up to 25 pounds. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, Colorado.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
