We are looking for a dedicated Product Development Scientist to join our team in West Valley City, Utah. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end development of science-backed dietary supplement formulations, ensuring high-quality outcomes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external collaborators, driving innovation and excellence throughout the product lifecycle.


Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and enhancement of solid-dose nutritional products, from initial concepts to commercialization.

• Manage formulation projects, including prototyping, scale-up activities, and production transfer.

• Set clear objectives, establish timelines, and ensure deliverables are met efficiently.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to optimize product formulations.

• Build and maintain effective relationships across departments to support project success.

• Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including scientific reports and presentations.

• Identify and address project risks or challenges, ensuring timely resolutions.

• Contribute to departmental initiatives and broader research and development goals.

• Master’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related scientific field.
• 3–5 years of experience in product formulation or dietary supplement development.
• Proficient knowledge of product lifecycle management tools, such as Oracle Agile.
• Strong understanding of document control procedures and product development processes.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Proven ability to communicate project risks or issues effectively and promptly.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and nutraceutical formulation development.
• Preferred: Ph.D. in a relevant field and experience with supplement formulations.
