Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time contract position is for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting behavioral services in a school setting located in Wilkes Barre, PA. The role focuses on assisting with behavioral interventions under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), providing essential support to students requiring behavioral assistance. The assignment is onsite and runs through June 9, 2026, with opportunities for virtual BCBA supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans developed by BCBAs
- Monitor and document student behaviors and progress
- Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to support positive student outcomes
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate behavioral strategies into daily routines
- Participate in virtual BCBA supervision sessions to ensure ongoing professional development and fidelity of interventions
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience working in school environments with students requiring behavioral support
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and data collection
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with educational teams
- Willingness to engage in virtual supervision as required
