ProEgg Cooperative is looking for a dynamic Account Manager to join our growing team! As a leader in the egg industry, were passionate about delivering farm-fresh quality and building strong partnerships that make a real impact. In this role, youll be the trusted advisor for key accounts, driving strategic growth.


General Summary: As the Account Manager you will sell products offered by the company to current and new clientele, make headquarter calls for multi-unit operations, manage assigned accounts and assist in developing sales, companywide.



Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Performs division and headquarter calls of multi-unit operations.
  • Handles all sales management functions with assigned accounts.
  • Develops new business opportunities/leads through planned sales calls with both retail and foodservice prospects.
  • Communicates with customers and prospects to identify and understand their product or service needs.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
  • Investigates and resolves customer complaints in a timely basis.
  • Documents sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer relationship challenges.
  • Prepares new customer on-boarding documents for the company.
  • Provides documents to the customer such as price quotes, market/industry/category information, sales flyers.
  • Travels to and from various customers and prospects in defined sales area.
  • Acts as a company representative at trade events such as food shows, etc.
  • Assists with training and development of new retail support representatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of retail sales and merchandising process.
  • Familiar with foodservice and institutional selling.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for a company experiencing significant growth.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other related software.
  • Ability to accurately document and report mile driven on behalf of company.

Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of CRM software, FreshDesk preferred.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of sales experience required.
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and auto insurance.



Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to drive/travel frequently. Ability to lift 10-15 lbs. frequently, and up to 25 pounds occasionally.


Working Conditions: Driving to and from appointments. Some in-office work to complete reports, customer onboarding documentation, sales presentations, category reviews, etc.

This position is expected to pay between $46k 60k annualized depending on applicable experience and location. Factors that may be used to determine actual salary include education (or applicable experience), training, job location, competencies relevant to the role, and internal equity.
