We’re looking for an Accountant to join our team and contribute to our mutual success. This role is hybrid, with mostly work from home and occasional office work.

Accountant
Reporting to the EVP of Operations, an Accountant II completes all needed AP, payroll, reporting, and analysis. This role is all responsible to track all software, healthcare renewals and updates, insurance COIs, budget updates, employee bonuses and commissions, and company and state registrations. Note that AR is handled by internal project managers, but collections monitoring and communication is a part of this role.
Job Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree in accounting or related field.
· CPA preferred but not required
· Prefer candidate has ‘big four’ experience out of school, Has extensive experience with cost accounting, job costing, payroll, reporting, jurisdictional tax issues. HR experience in terms of issues such as on boarding and off boarding of employees
· 3 years’ minimum experience.
· Full knowledge of cost accounting, job costing, payroll systems, and all types of related software and GAAP accounting rules. Strong collection duties abilities and experience a must. Would prefer candidate to have strong organizational skills, possibly past project management experience.
· Required: Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, Payroll Systems, Customer Third Party Sites, and other project management tools.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated ability to adhere to company accounting standards. Ability to work within tight project timeframes and communicate effectively with customers and vendors.
