Team Composition: 6 Physicians & 4 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)

Facility: Level 2 Trauma Center

On-Call Duties: None
Responsibilities of the APP
-
Inpatient Care:
-
Conduct rounds on pulmonary patients in both hospital and ICU settings, collaborate with physicians, document progress notes, and manage treatment plans/orders.

Outpatient Care:

Follow-up visits and acute care for hospital patients
-
Conduct patient assessments and provide education
-
Coordinate care and manage chronic diseases
-

Weekend Coverage: 1:5 rotation

Qualifications
-
Preferred experience in Pulmonology, Hospital Medicine, Cardiology, or Critical Care, though new graduates are welcome.

APPs: Must be board certified in their specialty prior to starting.

Possession of an active Michigan medical license (or the ability to obtain one).

DEA license required.
-
BLS certification (must be kept current).
